A Mother’s Day Family Photo Session in Fort Langley

I recently have got to know Megan through some social media and when Mother’s Day was on the horizon she wanted to get together with her sister Amanda and her mom Sheilagh for a little photo shoot. I think this is one of the most amazing things you can get for a mom – because she wants to see her girls all grown up and have fun with it! I met them out on the morning of Mother’s Day (don’t […]

LaCoste Family Session in Langley

A couple weekends ago I had some mini sessions at the beautiful Derek Doubleday Arboretum in Langley. It was a bright, beautiful and sunny day where I had the pleasure of meeting the LaCoste family! Loved this quick little session that flew by while the kids ran through the fields and enjoyed the summer-like day of April. Some of my favourites…

Stevens Family Photo Session in Maple Ridge

A little while ago I had the pleasure to go out and hang out with the Stevens family who had just welcomed their 4th child into the world 10 days before! The session was to both celebrate his new arrival but also showcase the family as a whole. We lucked out with some nice weather and headed to a nearby park in Maple Ridge. These kids were so much fun with a lot of personality, I can’t wait to see […]

Langley Family Photography Session

It’s always a pleasure to work with this little family. We met up recently to just take a few spring photos as last time it was a bit too cold for little R. This time around he was full of smiles and we even got in a few shots with Willow – the family’s dachshund!

2015 Favourites

Wow, what a great year! So awesome that I can’t wait for 2016. I went from Vancouver¬†island to Alberta, from Vancouver to Kamloops and plenty here in Langley. From family portraits to boudior, from elopement style weddings to ceremonies with a could hundred people. I love the variety and am excited to see what the next year plays out! I have new services (boudoir especially) and this new branding you may notice my site has merged into. So enjoy some […]

The H Family’s Photography Session in New West

One of my favourite things about the Holiday Season and Christmas is that big extended families all get together, which often means they want to do that family photo session where everyone is involved. I love these big sessions as you get to see how everyone interacts with each other and also do all the photos of each little part of the collective. I loved hanging out in New Westminster to do these photos with this awesome family, they were […]

The MacDonald’s Family Session in Langley

A couple weeks ago I met up with the MacDonald family out at Campbell Valley Park in Langley. It was so cold like it has been the last couple weeks, but the sun was out and with the days being so short this session took us almost into sunset! I had such a great time getting to know this family and as an added bonus for me, I love photographing twins! Especially twin girls, they have such a special bond. […]

Brenda & Mike’s Langley Wedding

When I had first met Brenda and Mike, I remember distinctly sitting back and just listening to them tell their story of what they visioned their wedding to be like. Mostly with some sarcastic comments from Mike and Brenda apologizing for his craziness. I love crazy and after about 10 minutes I finally chirped in and showed a bit of my crazy side too. I think that’s when I won Brenda over: she always says she picked me because I […]

Dean & Amanda’s Wedding at Rowena’s Inn on the River

Long long ago (ok, maybe around 2004) I worked at Burger King in Chilliwack. You know, that first job that you mean some lifelong friends with and although it isn’t the greatest job, it was probably one of the most fun. During this time where I was a shift manager, Amanda was hired. We worked together quite often, I still remember bugging her looking for a whopper with cheese! Over time we actually lost touch but back in the fall […]
