Catherine & Devin’s South Surrey Wedding [Hazelmere Photographer]

Whew, how did it get to November already?! With the slowing season I’m finally getting a chance to share some more of my summer images, including a small little wedding I photographed back in August. Unlike most of my couples I didn’t get a chance to get to know Catherine and Devin before their wedding, but as soon as I showed up on a beautiful August day, I knew that they had an amazing group of family and friends who […]

A&V’s Engagement Session at Campbell Valley Park

I met up with Austin & Vicki to do their engagement session a few weeks ago. We had opted for Campbell Valley Park as they were looking for a bit of water and forest with those beautiful fall colours and I think we found it! They are getting married next year at Riverway Golf Course in Burnaby so the contrast of a forest type session was perfect! We had originally booked it earlier in October but opted to wait due […]

A Prom Do-Over [Abbotsford Grad Photographer]

It’s rare you get do-overs, especially when it comes to special moments like a wedding, a first birthday or even your prom, but when a friend of mine told me that her prom photos pretty much sucked from a few years ago I wanted her to have some better ones! Many of my friends know I love photographing them AND hanging out as it’s the perfect time to relax, get a little creative and just have fun with things. This […]

Liane & Daniel’s *Post* Hatley Castle Engagement Session [Victoria Wedding Photographer]

Liane & Daniel’s wedding at Strathcona Park Lodge still stays in my mind as one of my absolute favourite weddings I’ve ever photographed… but we never actually did an engagement session beforehand. So when I got the opportunity to hang out with them again 4 years later (right before their anniversary) we did some engagement style photos. It was a blast, especially to work with clients who have become friends. :)

Mark & Amy’s Wedding in Yarrow [Chilliwack Wedding Photography]

They say rain is lucky for getting married and so Mark & Amy are going to be one lucky and amazing married couple! With a rainy engagement session and a partially rainy wedding, they are set for life! All kidding aside, Ryan and I headed out to Yarrow (outside Chilliwack) for Mark & Amy’s wedding a couple weekends ago to kick off our very busy 2017 season. Although I was hoping for it to look a little less like winter, […]

The Hooseman Team [Fort Langley Headshot Photographer]

Back in January i had the pleasure of getting to know one of Langley’s local realtors – Dean Hooseman – and his team. We had finally got a chance to get some nicer weather (without snow) for a moment so we headed out to Fort Langley to do some new headshots/portraits of each individual and also the team. I love how we included some lifestyle ones as well! Check out some of my favourites.

D & E’s Engagement Photography Session at Derby Reach in Langley

Darren and Esther have had one of those whirlwind romances where although they’ve known each other for a little while, their engagement is a short one! I met them only a few weeks after they got engaged in November and they are tying the knot out in Aldergrove this March! So needless to say we did not have much time to schedule their engagement session, but I’m so glad that we just played it by ear and waited for a […]

2016 Favourites – Wedding & Engagement Photography

The thing I like most about reflecting on a year’s past of photos is going from the beginning to the end to see how I’ve changed in a year… All of these photos I enjoy but I can definitely see as the year goes on how even just one season can make a huge improvement. It makes me pumped up and excited for the next season. It also gives me a chance to think back to all my couples and […]
