Our Island Adventure 2017 – Tofino, Ucluelet, Victoria & Parksville

It’s no secret that part of me will always belong to Vancouver Island and I’m still plotting my return in the distant future – maybe when I’m old and grey, but for now we all know I still head back every few months for working, networking or even just visiting friends. While most of my trips are solo (or just with Farfel), I do particularly love the chance when Ryan (and Harvest) can tag along for the ride as it’s […]

A&M’s Wedding at Cecil Green House UBC [Vancouver Wedding Photographer]

Much like the story of Vas & Mike, I met Aysha through our mutual love of Dachshunds. I had met her and her little black sausage dog Nox a few years ago and instantly connected over our wiener dogs and you can even find Nox in my published coffee table book of dachshunds. :) So fast forwarding to late 2015 when Aysha was looking for a photographer she remembered I was wedding photographer (not just a dog one) and we instantly […]

Amina & Shaun at Trout Lake – Vancouver Photographer

I’ve known Amina for a couple years now as we met when I was photographing dogs for my dachshund book. We actually met on instagram!  Since then we have seen each other at the local Vancouver Dachshund Meetup and of course keep up to date with each other online. Amina wanted some photos with her dog Mia and also her boyfriend and his dog Olive! We lucked out with a beautiful day out at Trout Lake after the most popular […]

When it happens to you…

Many of you have heard or met Ryan over the last while and have seen him mentioned a few times. He’s really been my rock the last while in life and came at the perfect time for this business. Of course the personal side is awesome but he really became a huge part of my life within the last year and that last year happened to be my first full time year of photography. Ryan has been there in so many […]

Peterson Creek Park

I spent a lot of time up in the Kamloops area since we have a family cabin about 30 minutes away – on your way to Sun Peaks! Anyway since I’m starting to photograph more there and Farfel and I love to explore in general, last time I went up we went and checked out a few parks and beautiful places that Kamloops has to offer! Once of my favourites was Peterson Creek Park, this would be the perfect location […]

Swizzle [Delta Portrait & Dog Photographer]

This session hits home a little more than others and I think that’s one of the reasons I’m excited to share a few extra images. Nicole came to me through Farfel, Fetch (our Pet Photography) looking for a session for her dog Swizzle. He’s getting a bit old and has some health problems so she wanted to make sure she had some great images to hold on to for the future. Having experienced this myself, it’s one of the things […]

Langley Family Photography Session

It’s always a pleasure to work with this little family. We met up recently to just take a few spring photos as last time it was a bit too cold for little R. This time around he was full of smiles and we even got in a few shots with Willow – the family’s dachshund!

2015 Favourites

Wow, what a great year! So awesome that I can’t wait for 2016. I went from Vancouver island to Alberta, from Vancouver to Kamloops and plenty here in Langley. From family portraits to boudior, from elopement style weddings to ceremonies with a could hundred people. I love the variety and am excited to see what the next year plays out! I have new services (boudoir especially) and this new branding you may notice my site has merged into. So enjoy some […]

Collier Family Photos at Blackie Spit in White Rock

The Colliers are now one of my regular families I see in the fall every year and since they had their photos done for Christmas cards, I usually like to wait to share this post until I’ve made sure everyone else is surprised by the photos! This session was super cold so we made it short and sweet, I love that they brought along a big red balloon for little R to hold – such a great contrast to the […]
